Follow one student's route
Before choosing a spot, walk a commuter's day: from the parking deck or bus stop, through the student union, to classes across campus, and back again after the last lecture.
The best spot sits on that route, in a building that stays open as long as students are on campus. A lobby that locks at 6 p.m. cannot take a return from a 7 p.m. class.
Present it as a rental
Students pay $2 for each 30 minutes, capped at $12 per 24-hour day, in the Juiceboxx app. Calling it a rental from day one avoids the expectation of a free campus service.

Returns when plans change
Students can return power banks to any Juiceboxx station. If plans change and a student leaves campus with a power bank, they have 48 hours to return it. The return guide covers the details.
Information desk staff never take rented power banks back. The station is the only return point.
Where students stay longest
Libraries, student unions, dining halls, and recreation centers keep students for hours, and many of them are open late. Those are the strongest spots. A building students only pass through on the way to class is a weaker fit.
Who to involve on campus
Campus placements usually involve facilities, auxiliary services or the student union, and sometimes student government. Bring in the office that manages the building and the person who approves vendors early, and the process moves much faster.
