Return to any station
A Juiceboxx power bank can go back to any Juiceboxx station, not just the one it came from. Rent at Paradise Lanes on Blackstock Road in Spartanburg and return at Total Fitness on Anderson Road in Piedmont, or the other way around.
So you can rent where the evening starts and return where it ends. The station finder and the app map both show where the nearest station is right now.
How a return works
Slide the power bank into an open slot on the station and follow the prompt in the app. The app ends the rental and the $20 card hold is released.
If something looks wrong, stay at the station and contact us from there. It is much easier to sort out with the power bank and the station in front of you than from home the next morning.
What an open rental costs
The rental keeps running until the power bank is back in a station. The price is $2 for each 30 minutes, capped at $12 per 24-hour day, so an overnight rental reaches the daily cap and stops there.
You have 48 hours to return it. After that, the $20 hold on your card is charged. If you cannot get to a station in time, contact us and we will help.
Three easy ways to lose track
Most missed returns come from a hand-off. A friend carries the power bank and nobody agrees who will return it. It gets left on a table or tucked into a car door. Or it goes home in a jacket pocket.
The fix is simple: agree who is returning it, and keep it with that person. Venue staff cannot take it for you, because they never handle rentals or returns.
When the night changes shape
The ride shows up early, the group moves across town, or last call comes sooner than expected. Treat the return as a stop on your route and drop the power bank at the last venue before you leave.
Because any station takes a return, a change of plans usually costs you nothing as long as a station is on the way. The rental guide shows how pickup and return fit together.
Check the venue's hours
Every station sits inside a host venue, so you can return only while that venue is open. If the doors are locked when you arrive, the station will be available again when the venue reopens, and your 48-hour window gives you time.
