What a charging station costs your venue

The short answer: nothing. There is no setup fee, no placement fee, and no installation fee. Juiceboxx supplies and installs the equipment, and your venue earns commission on rentals. Here is what hosting does ask of you, and how to tell whether your venue is a good fit.

$0 to host

Your venue pays $0 for setup, placement, and installation. Juiceboxx supplies the station and power banks, installs them, and services them.

Guests pay for rentals in the app: $2 for each 30 minutes, capped at $12 per day. That money never passes through your register.

What hosting asks of you

Three small things: a spot on your floor near a standard outlet, one sentence your staff can say ("You rent it in the Juiceboxx app"), and a named contact for us if the station needs attention.

How commission works

Your venue earns commission on rentals under a hosting agreement written for your location. Terms vary by venue, so we share them during the placement conversation rather than publishing one number.

Commission grows with how long guests stay and how much they rely on their phones, not with foot traffic alone.

Where a station does well

Bars, restaurants, bowling alleys, gyms, hotels, and event spaces, anywhere guests stay an hour or more and use their phones throughout. A quick-service counter where people are in and out in five minutes, or a space with outlets at every seat, is usually a weaker fit.

What Juiceboxx covers

Juiceboxx covers the station, the power banks, installation, the customer app, payment processing, customer support for rentals, and servicing the equipment. When a power bank is lost or damaged, that is our problem, not yours. Your venue never handles money for rentals and never carries inventory.

What guests pay

Guests pay $2 for each 30 minutes, capped at $12 per 24-hour day, with a $20 card hold released when the power bank comes back. The price is the same at every Juiceboxx venue and shown in the app before they confirm, so your staff never have to explain or defend it.

Next steps

Tell us about your venue and we will review the fit together. The venue guide, site acquisition, and onboarding page cover the rest.
