How station support works

A venue manager calls on a Saturday because a guest cannot find the station. Nothing is broken; the guest needs directions. Good support starts by telling those situations apart. Here is what venue teams should know, how to report a real problem, and who handles what.

Venue staff are not the help desk

Guests rent and return through the Juiceboxx app, and Juiceboxx handles rental support. Venue teams only need to point guests in the right direction.

Three things every venue team should know

Where the station is. That guests rent in the Juiceboxx app. And that power banks go back to any Juiceboxx station, never to staff. The return guide covers the guest's side.

Empty is not the same as broken

If a station has no power banks, they are usually out on rental, and they refill as guests return them. Check for that first before reporting a fault.

What makes a useful report

The venue name, the time, and what the guest saw or what the screen showed. A photo helps. There is no need to guess at the cause; we will diagnose it.

Who handles what

Juiceboxx handles rental support for guests, repairs, replacing lost or damaged power banks, and anything the station itself needs. The venue's role is to keep the spot clear and visible and to let us know when something seems wrong. Partner responsibilities, where a partner is involved, are set out in the partnership agreement.

Common questions from venue staff

"A guest says the station will not release a power bank." Ask them to check the app for an error, then contact Juiceboxx through the app. "A guest left a power bank on the counter." Put it somewhere safe and let us know, but the guest's rental stays open until it is returned to a station. "The screen is blank." Check the power outlet, then report it with the time.

Keep the contact list current

Staff change. Make sure a current manager is our named contact, and update us when that changes. The onboarding page covers setup, and the app guide is a good link to share with staff.
