Why phones behind the bar cost you
Taking a guest's phone creates a second job later: remembering whose it is and handing it back while other guests wait to close out. It takes up space where your team works, and a lost or cracked phone becomes the bar's problem.
A Juiceboxx station moves the whole exchange to the guest. They rent a power bank in the app, plug in, and keep their phone with them. Your bartenders never touch it.
Find the right spot
Walk the room during a busy service, not with the cleaning lights on. The best spot is visible from the bar and the seating, lit well enough to scan a QR code, and clear of the drink pickup and the exit path.
The end of the bar that looks empty on a Tuesday afternoon may be where everyone reaches across on a Saturday night. We help you choose during the placement visit.
The rental stays between the guest and the app
Guests open the Juiceboxx app, scan the station, and take a charged power bank. The price is $2 for each 30 minutes, capped at $12 per 24-hour day, and it is shown in the app before they confirm. The app guide shows the guest's side.
When staff point guests to the station, a simple line works: "It's a rental, $2 for half an hour, all in the app." That way nobody expects a free cable.
Last call and returns
Guests return the power bank to any Juiceboxx station, including the one by your bar on their way out. A power bank left on a table is not returned, so a quick reminder at last call helps. The return guide covers the guest's options.
Staff never process returns or take payment. If a guest has a problem, they contact Juiceboxx through the app.
What you agree before installation
Hosting is free. Juiceboxx supplies, installs, and services the station, and your bar earns commission under a hosting agreement written for your location. The agreement also covers the station screen, so nothing runs on it without your say.
Before install we confirm the spot, power access, and your opening hours.
